Delete your account

This page explains how to delete your Shopap account and data, for the Shopap console on the web and the Shopap mobile app for Android and iPhone, provided by Yogardens Agritech Private Limited.

Delete a Shopap login

For business owners, team members, suppliers and delivery staff who sign in to Shopap.

Before deleting, we verify that the request comes from the phone number or email address on the account, so only its owner can delete it.

What is deleted

  • Your login: name, phone number and email address
  • Your access to every business account you belonged to
  • Your signed-in sessions on every device
  • Your devices' notification tokens and your notification settings

What is kept, and why

Orders, payments, messages and other records you worked on belong to the business you worked for, not to your login. They stay in that business's account so it can keep serving its customers and meet its legal duties. Your name may remain on those records as part of the business's history.

Records the law requires us or the business to keep — such as tax, accounting or prescription records — are kept only for the required period.

Closing a whole business account

If you own a business on Shopap and want to close it entirely, email hello@shopap.techfrom the owner's registered email or WhatsApp from the owner's number. You can ask for an export of your data first. After the account closes, its data is deleted or anonymised within 90 days, except where law requires longer retention, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Customers of a business on Shopap

If you ordered from a store or messaged a business that uses Shopap, email hello@shopap.tech with the subject "Data Deletion Request", your phone number and the name of the store or business. We coordinate with that business, which is responsible for your data.

How long it takes

  • We acknowledge your request within 7 days.
  • Verified requests are completed within 30 days.
  • We confirm by email or WhatsApp when the deletion is complete.
